What it does.

strong.config provides a strongly-typed façade for accessing application configuration settings.

Why you need it.

strong.config eliminates errors stemming from mistyped or outdated configuration keys by enforcing compile-time checking on your application configuration settings. It has automatic type detection, supports XML documentation tags, and best of all, is generated automatically so it is always up to date.

How to get it.

The easiest way to integrate strong.config into your project is by downloading the NuGet package. Simply search "strongconfig" in the Package Manager dialog, or type the following into the Package Manager console:

PM> Install-Package strong.config

Of course, you can also get strong.config right here by downloading the latest release from the "Downloads" page. If you want to see it in action, you can download the sample ASP.NET MVC project used to develop it from the "Source Code" page.
